Supporting Our Indigenous Athletes
Honouring Heritage. Empowering the Future.
At Bucking 90 Leather Co., we believe rodeo is more than a sport — it’s a way of life built on respect, tradition, and courage. Our Indigenous athletes embody all of that and more. They carry generations of knowledge, storytelling, and horsemanship into the arena every time they nod their head, reminding us that western culture is deeply tied to Indigenous roots across the Prairies and beyond.
Supporting Indigenous athletes means standing with them — not just through words, but through action. Every collaboration, sponsorship, and custom piece we create is built with the same pride and integrity these athletes ride with. Whether it’s a championship belt, a set of custom chaps, or a handcrafted wallet, each item represents partnership, respect, and the shared love of rodeo.
We’re proud to back the athletes who represent their Nations, their families, and their heritage with strength and honour. Their stories deserve to be told, and their place in the rodeo world deserves to be celebrated.
Bucking 90 Leather Co. is committed to helping create more visibility and opportunity for Indigenous competitors, ensuring they continue to inspire future generations to chase their dreams and ride for something bigger than themselves.
Built for the ride. Rooted in respect. Inspired by tradition.
Athlete Partnerships
Backing the Next Generation of Indigenous Rodeo Legends.
We’re proud to partner with Indigenous rodeo athletes across Canada and the United States who represent excellence both inside and outside the arena. These athletes embody the values that define Bucking 90 Leather Co. — authenticity, perseverance, and heart.
Through our athlete program, we work closely with riders, ropers, and competitors from all disciplines to provide them with fully custom gear — designed to match their story, style, and spirit. Each partnership is built on trust and shared respect, allowing us to highlight the connection between craftsmanship and community that makes rodeo truly unique.
Spotlight Features (Coming 2026)
Stay tuned as we share the stories of our partnered Indigenous athletes — their journeys, their wins, and their words. Every spotlight will feature:
- Athlete Profile: Name, event, and home community.
- Custom Work: A showcase of their Bucking 90 gear — from belts and wallets to arena-ready chaps.
- Story Behind the Rider: What drives them, their connection to their heritage, and what “built for the ride” means to them.
If you’re an Indigenous rodeo athlete interested in partnering with Bucking 90 Leather Co., we’d love to connect. Reach out to us through our Contact Us page or Instagram @bucking90_leatherco to learn more about our 2026 sponsorship opportunities.
