Each season, we partner with a select group of athletes who embody these values both in and out of the arena. Whether you're competing at the junior, high school, college, amateur, or professional level, we encourage you to submit an application for consideration.

HOW SPONSORSHIP SELECTION WORKS

Every sponsorship application received is reviewed thoroughly and given careful consideration. We look beyond results and standings, focusing on character, professionalism, community involvement, social media presence, and how well an athlete represents the Bucking 90 brand.

While applications are welcomed from all athletes, Bucking 90 Leather Co. primarily builds its team through direct selection and personal relationships developed throughout the rodeo community. Because of this, submitting an application does not guarantee sponsorship consideration or acceptance.

Previous Bucking 90 Athletes in good standing will receive first consideration for returning to the team each season before new sponsorship positions are filled.

By keeping our athlete roster intentionally limited, we're able to provide meaningful support, build lasting relationships, and invest in the success of every athlete who represents our brand. Returning athletes in good standing will receive priority consideration for roster spots before new applications are reviewed, as we value loyalty, consistency, and the relationships we've built together over time. This approach allows us to continue supporting athletes who have proudly represented Bucking 90 while still creating opportunities for new competitors who share our values of hard work, sportsmanship, and western heritage.

LIMITED TEAM SIZE

We intentionally keep our athlete roster small to ensure every team member receives meaningful support, communication, and opportunities throughout the season.

MAXIMUM 12 ATHLETES

For the 2027 season, Bucking 90 Leather Co. will select up to 12 sponsored athletes from across Canada and the United States of America.

QUALITY OVER QUANTITY

Our focus is on building genuine partnerships with athletes who represent the western lifestyle, support their communities, and share our values.

WAITLIST OPPORTUNITIES

Once all roster positions have been filled, additional qualified applicants may be placed on a waitlist and considered for future sponsorship opportunities.

APPLICATION TIMELINE

Applications are accepted year-round; however, sponsorship decisions are typically made prior to the start of each competition season. Returning athletes in good standing will receive priority consideration before new applications are reviewed.

We intentionally finalize our athlete roster during the offseason to give selected athletes time to receive their gear, plan content for the upcoming season, and begin building their partnership with Bucking 90 before competition schedules become busy.

Applications submitted after the deadline may be considered for waitlist opportunities or future roster openings. Due to the volume of applications received, only selected applicants will be contacted.
